Traceability

The purpose of this pillar is to increase the transparency of Nestlé spices’ supply chain from Nestlé factories down to the spices’ origins (farms/villages).

The scope of the traceability pillar is global, covering the top Nestlé spices suppliers.

Activities conducted within this pillar are focused on collecting data from Nestlé suppliers and spices origins, and determining if the provided data about spices’ origins provided by each supplier is accurate, reliable and verified by a recognized third party.
